About Fifi
Meet Fifi! Fifi is an approximately 4 year old female Bichon mix, weighing about 15lbs. She has had a very unfortunate start to her life. She was rescued by her foster parents from a puppy mill, where she was born and kept in a cage her entire life. She had never touched grass. She was used for breeding and treated as livestock. This poor sweet girl had never had a life or human interaction outside of a cage with no real floor. She has come a long way in a few short weeks with her foster family. She is learning how to be a dog from the other dogs at her foster home. She must have a home with other confident dogs to help continue her rehabilitation. Fifi is very timid and very scared of most things in life because she’s never experienced them. The trauma she has endured has made her fearful of loud sounds and sudden movements. Young kids may not be the best for this mill mama. But with consistent encouragement has start coming out of her shell. That said she is more of a flight risk than most. She needs a fenced in yard. A home with other dogs is required, and a person at home most of the time would be great for her. She’s working on potty training but will need time, compassion and consideration. She currently uses puppy pads. She will need a very special home to help her continue to become the dog that she was never allowed to be. She’s spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.
